KARA LANE SCOTT

Kara Lane Scott is a queer, biracial artist currently based in Northern Virginia. Being an army brat, Kara has spent most of her life moving all over the United States, but she's happy to be back in the DC area where she spent several of her teen years. It's a place that truly feels like home.

Her performance career began with dance at nine-years old, and she transitioned into theatre during her high school years. Kara has been acting since her junior year of high school, quickly falling in love with theatre, despite her shy temperament. She studied acting in college at Arizona State University and at Arizona Actor's Academy.

Representation and diversity is of the utmost importance to Kara. She believes in the power of theatre, film, and television to create empathy and have a positive impact on society. Kara is also an advocate for mental health.
